CCC Transitional Math 458202R Regular Career Ed, Elective The Quantitative Literacy and Statistics Pathway is for students focused on attaining competency in general statistics, data analysis, quantitative literacy, and problem solving. This pathway is intended for students whose career goals do not involve occupations relating to either the STEM or Technical fields or those who have not yet selected a career goal. Transitional math courses are designed for seniors who have met the high school math graduation requirements but who are not projected to be ready for college-level math be the end of their senior year. Students who are below college ready (SAT 500) can choose from two types of transitional math courses senior year. Successful completion of a Transitional Math course guarantees placement (by giving portability) into a college credit bearing math class at any Community College in the State of Illinois, and some four year institutions. QL or Quantitative Literacy is for students who would like to pursue a two or 4 year degree in any field.
