Financial Literacy 294102R Regular Other Social Science, Career Ed, Elective Personal Finance will equip students with the knowledge, skills, and tools to make informed decisions that will impact them in the present and future. Students engage in the fundamentals of economic principles and a decision-making process and will evaluate the costs and benefits of career choices, saving and investment strategies, purchasing alternatives, and risk management strategies. Students will participate in real-world, hands-on activities aligned to the Common Core State Standards that will develop their skills for reading and writing, and the analysis of complex texts, including college applications, credit reports, and loan applications.
