Hoops in the Hood

Hoops in the Hood is summer basketball league that includes teams from multiple communities across the city of Chicago. Youth play on their teams locally and compete for a spot in the culminating tournament at the end of the summer. There are 3 divisions - pee-wee, minor, and major - enabling youth from 8 to 19 to participate. In addition to promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and dedication, Hoops in the Hood celebrates community safety and pride and cross-community unity.
