The Network Building badge is earned when an apprentice expands their professional network by writing a letter to a guest speaker or staff member, fostering personal connection. To earn this badge, an apprentice must attend choose a guest speaker or staff member to thank for insight gained during the presentation or tour. This will have a long-term impact on the youth participating because they will gain insight into the professional field as well as foster personal connection with people in the field. Youth must submit the letter to staff to review and discuss prior to sending.
